Obert was not my lawyer, he is my ex-husbands lawyer. To this date he has not contacted my ex since we went to court in late November. My divorce has been final since January 30, 2009. My ex has not even been notified that the divorce is final. Nor has he been notified that after the divorce was final, I sued him for attorney fees and won due to the fact that Obert did not send in the paperwork to fight it until it had already been awarded to me.

Here are some of my complaints:

                  Obert drug out the divorce proceedings, causing me to have an outrageous bill from my attorney.

                  He has not sent my ex any papers from the court about the divorce or the legal fees that I already have a judgment for.

                  My ex does not know what is expected of him for our minor daughter. And is using the fact that he has not recieved anything from Obert as his reason for not compling w/ the divorce papers.

                   I also had to go through the county to have my ex's name taken off my house.

                  My daughter needs to go to the DR. for her asthma and my ex is suppose to handle her medical ins. But says he has not recieved paperwork stating that.

There are alot more things as well. I have been trying to get my ex to write to the PLF and to the Bar. He says he has left numerous messages for Obert and has even talked to him and Obert said he would be mailing the paperwork and my ex's personal belongings (passport, etc.), but my ex says he has recieved nothing from him. My ex also says Obert is very hard to reach. I am writting to you because it is time for  things to get done w/ this divorce. I have been asking my ex to write and he just keeps saying that he has not recieved his paperwork.

I would really like to get this matter taken care of. I feel that Mark Obert is completely out of line. And feel he should be held responsible for the judgement I have for my attorney fee's. As if he would have produced the things to the court durring my divorce proceeding, I would not have had such an outragous bill. I also feel that Obert should have some kind of disiplanary action so he can not do this to other people. And to find out that he has already had complaints that are similar makes me sick.

I am now living in California and trying to raise my 15 year old daughter by myself. I could really use the money form the judgement. I am sorry that I am the one who is being forced to write to you. But if I wait for my ex to do it it will never get done.

I would appreciate any help you could give me.
