Sara L. Gabin

5.7.1994

"Sara Gabin represented me in a SSI (Social Security) case.  We went to a hearing twice.  She kept telling me things I though were correct such as; "the longer we wait the better it would turn out" for me.  ...called her several times and she just kept saying 'Ch we have time.'  I finally told her numerous times I want to settle the case, I need the money.
.....
All she (Sara Gabin) did was mislead me to a lot of things
I counted on being true.  She (Sara Gabin) was my attorney (and) they were not true.

(Sara Gabin's) dragging the procedure on did nothing but cause more damage."

Oregon State Bar writes:  Bridget Clapp, "you are dissatisfied with the quality of legal services rendered by Ms. (sic) Gabin."

To Oregon State Bar 6.9.1994

"She misled me...She told me how much money I would be receiving not saying I would be deducted for wages, food and shelter.

Later, upset about these things, I contacted her asking why why I was never told these things she said.  She never knew. Now, what does that explain to you (about her competence as a Social Security attorney).  She is now claiming that she made me aware of these things; Not true.

I trusted her.

It only got worse and I lost more by waiting.

(Sara Gabin) misled me (on) a lot of things and she should have to pay for it.."

Letter from Social Security attorney Sara Gabin May 26, 1994

"...in my opinion, she (my Social Security client) had nothing to loose..."  (sic)
[Note:  On Gabin's website she says, "
You can loose benefits, a recovery or have your rights defeated just for having missed a deadline"
